Quick & Easy Mango Salsa

Up close 2.jpg

Hey loves! How are you enjoying the Nairobi heat? It has been extremely hot for the past couple of days but we take it in good faith! I absolutely love mango season, which normally begins in January (with the heat) and ends at around March/April. I love mangoes because they are a great substitute for bananas in smoothies and other recipes, due to their natural sugar content.

I am usually very skeptical about mixing sweet and savory ingredients in a recipe. However, I decided to go outside my comfort zone with this mango salsa and I must say, it it turned out really amazing, so much so that I could not wait to share the recipe with you guys! The ingredients complimented each other quite well and so they provided a balance in the flavors. The salsa is an amazing dip for sweet potato fries or crisps and the recipe is really quick and easy. Do try it out and let me know how you like it!
