Taking Stock Three

Hey Loves! It feels like it was just the other day when I shared my Taking Stock 2 post and yet here we are, ushering in Quarter 4. I am so excited for this quarter, not only because it is the last one but because a lot of my friends are entering into a new season in their lives, me included! 🙂

I had taken some time off last month to just live, rest, unwind and re-route. Not just from the blog but also from work, school and all my other obligations. I am now back; recharged, more inspired and ready to help prompt you all to kick ass this last quarter with happy stomachs, healthy bodies and centered spirits! 😉

I personally enjoy sharing these posts and I hope you enjoy reading them just as much! 🙂

Drinking: Lemon tea every morning when I’m at work.

Reading: The 5th and final book of the Crossfire Series by Sylvia Day.  It is a series of 5 books that I would highly recommend to anyone who enjoys reading contemporary romance.

If you are a book lover, keep your eyes peeled because I have ah-mazing news for you coming soon in a separate post. My mom & I discovered this e-library of sorts where you get to pay annual membership for book rentals and they deliver the hard copy to your preferred location, right here in Nairobi.  How cool is that? 🙂

Making: Plans for an upcoming trip. The planning stage can be quite hectic but I am extremely grateful for the opportunity.

Cooking: It is a shame that the last time I cooked was the same day that I made the Pea & Avo Dip weeks ago!

Wanting: To make more money this quarter, I’m not even kidding!

Deciding: On what content to schedule for the rest of the month. I really want to make up for the time I had taken off.

Wishing: I could go back to Diani where my only care included drink as much wine as I possibly could and snorkeling on a daily.

Enjoying: How clear my skin has been lately! The ocean truly has, rather underestimated, healing powers.

Learning: That how you do anything is how you do everything.

Loving: Oprah’s Super Soul conversations that are now available on Podcast.

Needing: To buy baby gifts! I’m now a god-mom and I couldn’t be more stoked! Yaay! 🙂

Wearing: A black sweater top, jeans and a printed cotton kimono.

Opening: Up to being more fully present.

Closing: The door for any shadow of self-doubt and compromise this quarter.

Feeling: Grace-Soaked!

Playing: Cold Heart Riddim. I listened to the song ‘Forever’ on my way to work the other day and I have been playing it on repeat since.

Wondering: Whether I will manage to finish all that I have scheduled for today. sigh! Thank God it’s Friday! 🙂

Smelling: The Gucci Guilty perfume that I used this morning. In my eyes, you can do no wrong with any ‘For Men’ scent.

Following: Dimma Umeh. She is a Nigerian YouTuber and her makeup is always so flawless. Her monthly vlogs are also great!

Ya7ska Af. She is a Kenyan YouTuber and she makes eye-shadow blending and application seem like child’s play. I am honestly not much of an eye-shadow girl but her tutorials will have me buying a palette this weekend.

Laughing: At a comment made by my good friend about my Mr being a doctor because he is always on the go! 😀

Thank you so much for stopping by and reading my posts. If you have a blog or YouTube channel that you would like me to check-out, feel free to share a link and I definitely will. I wish you all a great end to the week! 🙂
